This policy explains how Hopline ("we", "us") handles information when you visit hopline.co or contact us. We keep it short and honest.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form or email us, we collect what you choose to share — typically your name, email address, company, the kind of project, and your message.
Information collected automatically. Our host (Cloudflare) processes standard server and security logs — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to operate and protect the site.
Local storage. We store your theme choice (light/dark and accent) in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. This is a functional preference, not a tracking cookie, and never leaves your device.
How we use it
We use the information you send to respond to your enquiry, discuss and deliver work, and keep a record of our correspondence. We use automatic logs to run, secure and improve the site. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent when you submit the form, and on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and operating a secure website.
Who we share it with
We only share data with service providers that help us run the site, under their own terms:
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN and security for the site.
- Zoho / ZeptoMail — to deliver contact-form messages to our inbox and to send and receive our email.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we reasonably need it for our working relationship and our records, then delete it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) offered by those providers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to our use of your personal data. To exercise any of these, just email us at contact@hopline.co and we'll take care of it.
Cookies & analytics
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we'll use a privacy-friendly, cookieless approach and update this page.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and we apply sensible security headers. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the studio grows or the law changes. We'll revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
